The journal covers a wide spectrum of research topics addressing current public health issues and challenges in Egypt and other Middle Eastern and African countries that share similar public health challenges. It is a peer-reviewed open-access journal. It publishes original research, critical and relevant reviews, methodological papers, invited editorials, and short communications on public health theory, practices, challenges, and impacts. EJCM particularly welcomes research that address local and regional public health concerns and those recommending appropriate public health solutions/programs/policies tailored to under-resourced setting.
